It's a shame how we as human beings act. I mean accross the board. From the small things in life, to far greater and meaner thinhs also.
Take this guy who kidnapped these 3 women for almost 10 years. What I don't understand is how there were 3 of these men living in the same house and only ONE is being charged. Come on, for almost 10 years and the other 2 guys didn't notice something strange that one, and its the biggest thing...THAT THEY NEVER LEFT THE FUCKING HOUSE!!. How do you NOT know something VERY WRONG is going on.
Okay, 4 elderly woman did call the poice and it took them almot 2 hours to show up. And when they did show up, they knocked on the door, since no one answered, they left. So what if these 4 women were know in the neighborhood as being extremely nosey, so what as policemen, you took it as them, the 4 were just seeing things. As police offiecers, any OTHER time they would have bust down the door, but not this time.
Now, what about that guy that DID broke down the door and freed them all? From what I seen at first on the news, like CNN mostly, it was as if they were making fun of him. This guy did a GOOD THING, and not much of many news channels has mentioned him. But what was mentioned, and this I don't understand, a Police Conference news cast, the spokesman THANKED all other Police Angencies and DID NOT mention this one guy who broke down the door. But what one Latino Officer did say? That what this guy who kidnapped these women is in no way and should be taken as no way that that's how the Latin community is in general as a whole. Why did he mention that? The FBI and the local Police had nothing to do with findinlg these woman. That ONE man did.
Moving on to that trail of that one woman who killed her boyfriend, she was found guilty. Good I say, but I'm not jumping up and down, clapping and hollaring all over the place like those fools did outside the courthouse. So that what we as humans have stepped down too, cheering idiots when some one is found gulity. Hey, while we are at it, let's hang her in the town square. Better yet, tie her to a stake and burn her. Some people, you actually see their true colors. And speaking of...
We had a meeting at work yesterday. The FChef went over a couple of things with us. Its 5 of us, and The Chef. He mentioned that since I am The Chef Tourant, a position that covers all stations in the kitchen, he felt that some of the team were putting all their duties on me. Like when they spilled something in one of the friges, they would tell me to go and clean it up. Spill something on the floor, Mike would clean it up. Oh, I did and then I would say something to the Chef about it.
One thing he covered, the extra food that is lefted over after lunch. The 2 women in the kitchen would be so concerned with packing it up for themselves, that doing their job, cleaning up, the paid no attention to detail about doing it. These women would leave with at least 2 shopping bags of food a piece. We would never throw it away, cauwe they would take it. But what the issue was...Security had a problem with it. Being in the kitchen, we don't have to pay for our meals, all other employees do, $5. When leaving Security ahs to inspect your bag. Nothing like. Security staff STILL being hungry after lunch, and see 2 kitchen staff members leaving with SHOPPING BAGS of leftover lunch. So Chef mentiones something about it. He says take enough for one or two meals for ONE person.
That with all the things mentioned before created a shit storm in one of the woman. What they, and I mean all of them would do, is milk the clock. Sign in when intering the building, then go change into the cook's uniform. Same thing when leaving, change into street clothes, and then clock out. Doesn't sound like a big thing, right. Well it is. Theor hours as full timers are 7am to 2:30 pm, but they end up clocking out at much later a time. I don't know what time it is or was, but for the Chef to mention it its a biggie to HR. So one of the women who I thought was a sweet person, her whole being changed. I walked by her duribg lunch and she elbowed me in my chest. I said something to the Chef, he spoke to her and she said she felt, she thought I was going to bump into her should with my shoulder. Chef wants to keep this under the table and he is out on vacation starting today. I'm going in as if nothing has happened and I know she will be cold as ice to me today. Just gonna do my job...and start looking for another one.
