I purchased an Xbox 360 when I was living in Chat, NC. I got it second hand at GameStop. My very first game was Watch Dogs, paid $60 for it. Go ahead and ask me how much I liked the game. I didn't. I wanted a gaming console and I wanted the latest game that was out and all the TALK was about the game Watch Dogs. I didn't know anything about playing video games and I went all in Balls Deep too.i think I popped it in the 360 maybe twice. I had no clue of what the fuck I was doing. A I did know I kept getting killed. I moved on and up to Halo. Do t remember what or which one but this type of game, Shooters..this type I got into. I was into fps, First Person Shooter and Campaigns that when I went to sleep and I dreamed... My dreams, in my dreams I was moving about like the characters in the video game. All in all, I amassed 35 video games...and then I purchased an Xbox One. Can't even remember, and I swear where I purchased it at. So now I had to consoles. I sd the Xbox 360 and 35 titles for..TWO GALLONS OF ICE CREAM. Yep, and I started by more games and got a subscription to Gameplay also. Move to Pittsburgh and the first thing I do was sold my Xbox and about 10 video games. I did t have internet access, so I said fuck you, begone.
So now here it is 2022. I purchased a PlayStation 4, PS4 off a guy who was going away to like a Job Corp type program while I was in the shelter. I think I gave him under $100 for it and about 6 video games. Right now I have about 15 more game titles, did away with the subscription based GameFly because now what they wanted for 2 titles a month, you only get one title game. You keep it as long as you want and you pay monthly for it. Oh but wait, what about XBox, hmmm?
So now you can play Xbox on your laptop if it's robust enough, if not..you can play it in The Cloud. So for $14.99 a month, you can download games from Xbox online and play them in your laptop, but you have to have a big enough hard drive. No worries, you can always buy an external hard drive. I did, got 5 terabytes for $99. That's a bargain and people were telling me I didn't pay that much for it, I paid more. Pulled up BestBuy, click..click and click. There are, $99 in The Bronx on Fordham Road. I shit them the fuck up. But I have a PS4 you may say or are wondering. For under $60 for a YEAR, PlayStation has the same thing, and it's called Playstation Plus. A big yellow Plus sign. Xbox, I had Ultimate Game Pass for $14.99 a month. And Playstation Plus about $60 a year. Cancelled my subscription to Ultimate Game Pass. Then Playstation changed, they went into a 2 tier thingy. My PlayStation Plus, I subscribed to the next level up on it to get included for free a video game called Stray. About a cat. Google it, check out the game play on YouTube. Which brings me to Battlefield 2042.
Hard core games were complaining how the Devs, The Developers of the game didn't know what they were doing, a lot of glitches in the game, respawns, coming back to life within the game wasn't working right, where were all their guns and shit. A lot of other crazy shit that made me feel that I wasn't even worthing of buying the game with my own damn money, but I did anyways. To me it was okay, though I didn't know what the fuck I was doing. On YouTube I subscribed to a feed where as this guy must have an acorn up his ass, talking about what needs to be fix, where is this and where is that. Come on!! The Devs put the came together the way THEY want it to be played. They didn't want to be like 'Call of Duty'...where all it is is the same old game, with the same old shit in it. Call of Duty is the shit though. Many titles...MANY titles and Add Ons too. I THOUGHT I finished Call of Duty Ghost. Hell no! Upon further inspection, I only finished 17% of the game, WTF!!?
I'm going to continue this in another post.
