Okay I have some broadcasting equipment that I purchased, it was in the low end of all of their models. But from what I've read about it, it's good for a beginner such as myself. I'm going to place a picture of it as soon as I finish with this.
What the slight issue is... I have to find a media to broadcast it on and in. I want a free one if there any and there are. But I didn't know it was so technical. I know I'm going to need the software and I picked OBS. Don't ask me what it stands for, Google it. I played with OBS a couple of months ago. Downloaded it for free and opened it up and I was able to bring up my webcam in it, my laptop microphone works with it. I just finished reading that I might need anorher piece of hardware to go along with it though, an Encoder. But first hear this.
So I get an email from Amazon stating that the company who I purchased it from wants to know what I think about thier hardware. So I answer them. Amazon sells it through their website and that's who I purchased it from. I get another Amazon email, but it's from the company, Squarock telling me that Amazon will not give them my email address and that I am to contact them thru Facebook. Hold on... My email to the company Squarock was asking them for advice in what website should I use that would benefit me with their hardware. Amazon does not want to give them my email because I think they, Amazon, thinks that if I want to upgrade, I will go straight to the source, Squarock. But it gets even better.
I did reach out to them thru Facebook. But I went to their website first. They are sold out of the unit I purchased. But Amazon has a shit load of them. I started doing the math on Squarock asking price and then what Amazon is selling them for. I know for a fact Amazon did not buy all those units at the asking price Squarock was selling them for on their website. They done moved up and on to a better looking one too. It's still in it's crowdfunding phase though. All Squarock told me...I think was ALLOWED to tell me that THE unit, not their unit can hook up to a cellphone and my laptop. Amazon...they got some shit with them.
I just have to clear my head about this now. I have the DJ Controller working, I figured out yesterday how to import the music and where to stash it at on my laptop.. I have about 40% of working knowledge of what the switches, knobs and whatever else does. I have shitload of music I can use. I just have to piece together these two pieces of hardware. If I'm going to need an Encoder, that's going to cost me about. $250. I'll find out on Friday because today Thursday I helping someone clean out their storage unit.
Good thing about helping this person is.. it's where their storage unit is at. About 30 miles from here. Also in the town is where Xfinity has a store, and that store is the only store around. Xfinity only send out Technicians for installs only...I think. Because trying to get a real person on the phone is something crazy. Nowadays even the people 2ho are supposed to come to your home and help you, don't. But their company prices keep going up and up with little help from the people who use to in days gone by. I want to hard wire my TV and PlayStation, an Ethernet Connection. This will leave my wifi with less connecting to it to work my DJ Controller. See, that's some more shit that I have to figure out. I mean I purchased the Ethernet wires and ran the. To the TV and PlayStation, but the Ethernet didn't catch.
I know I'll probably curse someone out, watch.
That little box at the top, that's 5he broadcasting hardware.
