I went to sleep around 7:45 am. I woke up AT 2:10 pm. I told myself that I need to go and get some cigarettes. I looked in my make shift coffee table and I saw I had half a pack. I got dress and went to the store.
When I entered the parking lot, I sang a lyric to a song... "Yes, the rthym a rebel, without a sound I'm lowering my level." A blondes hair woman in front of me said.."5-0 said freeze'..without even turning around and facing me. I said "Public Enemy Number One." Then she turned around.
She said I LOVE PE! I said yeah, they Old School. She noticed my accent and said NY right? I said yep. And when just started talking and talking....for an hour inside the store. People came and went looking at this couple discussing Rap and The Hip Hop Culture. I say she is in her late 40's early 50's. She told me that she didn't know how to set up her YouTube, in fact she doesn't have one, but want one. I told her to do it in her phone, but she said she didn't know how to and if I have the time can I show her. Sure.
I purchased two packs of cigarettes and found her outside. She said we can sit in the car. I told her I lived like less than 2 minutes from here and if she wanted to and wasn't doing anything, come back to my place. She thought about it and said okay. She said since the guy behind the counter knows me, she felt safe.
Back at my place the first thing she noticed was my DJ Controller and asked was I a DJ. Yd her no, but a retired Cook. Was amazed by my setup and that I had 3 laptops up and running. Told her to use the laptop in the sofa and walked her thru setting up her account and then downloading the app on her phone and signing in. She wanted Premium YouTube so she paid for it. I asked her does she want some music on her phone, she said she didn't know how to do any of that either. Connected her phone to the laptop, at up folders and asked her to write what she wanted down.
45 minutes later she had albums and singles she wanted that I had download from a torrent site. Installed VLC player, showed her how to use it, also showed her how to use YouTube. She asked me was I hungry and that she would buy dinner, it was around 4pm. I said okay, Chinese Food. I went into my drawers and saw I had 2 packs of cigarettes already in there. The. It got strange.
When I saw the two packs I stopped, I stopped moving. She asked what's wrong and I just put my right hand up, not saying a word, but giving her the stop motion, and she did. I looked at her and asked her can I ask her some questions. How come you went into the store and you didn't buy anything. She said she didn't know why she even came to the store because she didn't need anything thing. So I asked her but where was she going. And she got this look in her eyes and said that she wasn't going nowhere. But why were you in your car? She said she didn't know. Then she got what I was going after.
The world we live on is strange. Strange shit happens to people everyday, but most don't even pay attention. She lives 45 minutes away and there are stores, many of them between where she lives at and where I first saw her at. That means...
I the. Said to her that I'm going to ask you some questions again and answer them honestly. Boyfriend, no Husband, no Children, no Looking for a boyfriend? Yes, for the longest. Why? The she got quiet. I told her to just say it. She said because she is always thinking about sex, hasn't had sex in almost 2 years and wants to get laid. I tols her, if she wanted to we can do it right now. It's her decision. With no hesitation, she said okay and went into the bathroom.
We ordered Chinese Food afterwards, and ordered more Chinese Food later on. She asked could she spend the night, I told her yes. She asked could she take pictures of me, of us..I said sure go ahead. She left around 10am the next morning.
She never slept with a Black man before and she believed in safe sex, but I didn't use a condom. She said she wasn't worried about it because some One or Thing was in control of what was happening and no one will believe her when she goes back home. Her phone never rang the whole time she was with me, but when she got to her car, notifications were and kept going off. Text messages and voicemails and emails. I start singing the Tight Zone theme.i will never see her again even though she said she wants to come back and see me.
I waited a good while before I made this entry. I was expecting something to happen, but nothing did.
God puts people together. He also probably said that day that he was going to do something Special for hers d took over. On my park, he worked his strings attached to me also.So that at the right moment...All I had to say was...'Yes, the rythem a rebel, without a pause I'm lowering my level."
