In Brooklyn, NY a 16 year old was shot and killed by NYC's NYPD. This 16 year old was know as a Blood Gang member, and Police say he pulled a gun out on them. So, they shot and killed him. My feelings on the whole matter is this....
I could care less that he was shot and killed for one reason only... He was KNOWN as a GANG MEMBER!! On the news for the last couple of days, in Brooklyn thathave been protests, marches to the Police Station. Notice I didn't say peaceful marches. Groups of THUGSvwent into a local store chain and trashed the place. Plus, caught on camera, betting up on a customer. But no, the community says he was a good kid and he didn't have a gun a witness who say the whole thing. He probably did have a gun and or, the Police 'thought' and had every reason to believe he DID have a gun.
Okay, so if the Police made a terrible mistake and shot him and killed him, it was just that, a mistake. But I don't think they did it on purpose. Listen, he was a gang member and the gangs out there in Brooklyn are heartless and cold blooded. 16 year olds in these gangs are trying to make a word for themselves and thinkh because they are 16, nothing can happen to them. They also think that going to jail for you gang, your gang family is like a medal of honor. If shot by rival gang members and live to tell the tale about it, they walk around with a cane, like its a good thing, showing off. 'Yeah I got shot, butIm gonna get them back, watch'.
I ask, where are the parents in all of this. If I were a parent, I could put up with a lot my 16 year old son can and will do, but... Being in a gang while living in my house, I'm not having that. I would do everything I could do. When I can't do any more, kicking his ass out. But first I will call the Police on him to have him escorted out of the home. These parents who allow for the children and young adults to live under their roofs should also do jail time. But what you get...is these same parents who say on camera in protest, that their son was a good kid, he went to school, people in the community, so will and some won't, will speak up for and against the kid. Oh, they won't speak against the kid in public, just behind closed doors and only to a seleted few and NEVER on camera.
What I don't understand is this. If these kids, grown men AND women want to defend something that really isn't theirs, they should join the Armed Forces and be placed in a combat field where they will get a chance to shoot all the bullets they want to. But what you hear from them when appraoched about joining, they aren't going to die for nothing. Well theyh are doing that right now for nothing and for free.
