...saw a co worker, a family member on the verge of hurting themselves, would you step in?
Most people would without a question, step in with a family member, but co workers is another story. But why not the coworker? You may spend more time with a coworker than you do family members, right? Do you consider coworkers as family members? Most people don't, but I do.
I will say something in their defense. If they're wrong or right, I will step up and say something. Some won't. Its a sad feeling when later on they do something that hurts themselves and later you wished you had really said something.
Had a conversation with a person, and from what they told me, education is the means and way to better yourself. Maybe 20 years ago that may have been the way, but today, its WORK. Any child born today, comes the time for them to enter college...it will cost the close to a million dollars for 4 years of college. If you haven't notice, college prices aren't going down in cost.
So, if they decide to attend, there are college loans to be paid off, right?and who is there to say that the cost of living, the price of maintaining a healthy lifestyle will lower in price. Some may say that a college education is a way to get you off the 'farm' so to speak. True that, if you're use to getting 3 dollars and hour. I look at things totally different cause I am a single man with no children. Of course if I was married or even had a child out of marriage, I would see and do things differently, but its not so.
I am living my life as I see fit. I don't spend beyond my means. I don't have credit cards, nor do I have a car. I live with a family member and sometimes I cover the rent, but I don't have to. I doit cause I want to. Its practice for in case I do. I don't own a home for the simple fact, I don't have a family to support...simple as that.
I don't know...some people have to take a look at the way they live their life and THEN make decisions.
