 It's a damn shame that a person has to keep their head on swivel when riding NYC's subway. It's all bad that as a Black man I feel much safer when the train I am on is in a White part of the city. Though shit can still happen, more or less it doesn't. But when that train pulls South of 125th Street, I can somewhat breathe a sigh of relief. But when the train pulls North into 125th Street...it's a damn shame that I have to get into Combat Mode.

On the L train, one of those subway car dancers had the nerve to ask the White man sitting next to me for $5. And when the man pulled off his headphones and said no.. The subway dancer got angry. Dude, you REALLY need to take a look around in the car you are in. I counted 3 other Black people and not one of them, including me would have came to your defense if you were to have got ugly with that White man.

Speaking of Subway Car Dancers... Listen, I can understand that THAT is your hustle and shit but.. But some of ya'll, the ones I constantly see are so damn grimy and dirty. NO!! No, I am NOT getting you not one red cent out of my pocket. I'm on my feet 9, 10 hours a shift and you're running from car to car with a dirty ass baseball cap asking for money for something that The MTA does NOT want you doing.
